Classification of capacitors

By the nature of the work, there are three types of capacitors: constant, tuning
(half-variables) and variables.
Constant capacitors are classified by type of dielectric and
rated voltage.

 USSR capacitors classification

The capacitor notation system consists of three elements:
 - The letters К are a constant capacitor; КП - a variable capacitor; КТ - tuning capacitor; КН - nonlinear (varicond)

- Numbers indicating the material of the dielectric and the group according to the operating voltage (see table)

- Numbers indicating the type of capacitor

Classification of capacitor designations by the second element.

The marking of USSR-made capacitors can be either alphanumeric,
containing an abbreviation for the above parameters, or color.
Large capacitors are marked in the following order:
type, rated capacitance, multiplier, tolerance, rated operating voltage.
